Pre-made or Random Map?

We have already decided on a epic game, what alterations should be made to the map?

I voted for large modifications. They really need to make it even. Conquests are typically geared towards one civ. In fact, I think doing a Conquest was a mistake. Whining and complaining is bound to happen. It's not an even start at all...unless we do the Japan conquest or something that starts everybody out with a settler like a regular game.

I say minor land mods but no resource mods.

The game should be "fair" for each team but not "equal." This means no one should get a 10 tile island start or a pure jungle start, but I think each team having an equal start takes some strategy out of the game. It's just like in real life, some civs had it better than others.

land mods no jungle no desert starts..

also starting spots there is a problem in c3c pbems where starts can be as short at 6 tiles from one another need to deside on minimum start distances say 20 tiles also no starts on small islands one pbem im in c3c im on a 12 tile island top to botom 2 tiles wide..that kind of start could end our game quickly..

also rivers..not haveing to build aquaducts is a huge bonus as they are so frigging expenssive if your stuck on the pop 6 takes forever to build one
