i have reviewed the log thoughly..thanks for posting it..

can cdz surrvive the gca attack and still be worthwile partners in this game?

on a side note there was a lot of questions about cdz land and the location of gca..with what was said i would bet some of our clever members could construct a close map of them...this comes very close to bending the rules of maps before in game trading...i would be very distressed if such a map happened to get posted....

CDZ said they can take out GCA's army rather easily. They have 3 vet Archers and 1 regular Spear heading for CDZ's city of Ni! CDZ already has 1 Archer, plans on pop-rushing more. Additionally, they finish a Barracks in their capital next turn.

I have the same concern as brian - how is giving a detailed description of a map any different to posting a screenshot?

From the rules (my bolding near the end):

1.6 Invalid Map Trading

Description: No team or individual is permitted to barter, gift, or otherwise trade any sort of map, whether it be a screen shot, minimap, hand drawing, or any other 'picture' of the in-game map, mini-map, or embassy screenshot before the requisite tech is discovered. Verbal/text descriptions are allowed, but coordinates are not.

From what the rules state, it would be legal if one of our members constructed such a map, from a text description, but not from exact coordinates. However, if a CDZ member makes the map and transfers to us, that would be a rule violation.

Sounds like someone is looking for a supreme court nomination ;)

Well, we have 3 near us, and 1 within reach (gems on a mountain to the south). GCA also has furs, so that makes a total of 5 on this continent, which will be very handy in keeping our cities happy under Republic. :)

Slowed down how?

In the speed of their turns?
Yes, they're busy spending each turn trying to figure out how to counter-act GCA's moves. Skyfish informed me last night before he went to bed that the GCA stack has moved west and is now only 3 tiles from Ni!, as well as there being a GCA Warrior next to CDZ's border, which violates the NAP they signed.

If I a have said it once I have said it a thousand times - GCA sucks and ***** is a sorry little rat ****er. :cute:

if thiongs go bad for cdz is there any way we can help them?

miccofl

We can sacrifice a virgin to the God of War in a plea for rendering assistance to them, but at the moment there is little we can physically do to help. Anyone know a virgin? I think they have to be female so Laser or Provost won't cut it. :cute:

I have yet to meet a female virgin...oh wait....nah, I better not give her up. :cute:

We do have a turn and are holding it due to a communications snafu. Once we hear back from CDZ (sometime tomorrow) either Trip will play the turn in the afternoon or I will when I get off work.

And Laser, if you are looking for female virgins I suggest you try the third grade. At least you can meet one...

That's just wrong, micco....just wrong....but so sad and true. :(

You live in Florida? What Florida would that be? And I disagree, I think it's better that way.
